Harbour MSP was established in 2002 by current CEO John Howl and Commercial Director Andrew Hardy.
The pair identified a great opportunity to provide exceptional managed IT services to the Sydney market. They rapidly formed a great relationship with Steve Murphy and the Frontline group to fully launch the newly created Harbour MSP to the market with Frontline Systems Australia becoming the parent company. The addition of a partnership with Global Switch provided a firm basis for the company to develop in the market.
With John's technical expertise and Andrew's commercial acumen, the company has grown rapidly, from 4 to 40 colleagues, expanding around Australia and South East Asia. Today, the business lists local and multinational clients across a number of industries, including banking, information technology, logistics, telecommunications and more.
Andrew says Harbour MSP success stems from its reputation, with the majority of clients coming from referrals. "We continually try to improve and grow the business. We constantly ask ourselves, where is the market going? How can we increase our service levels and what can we do better?"
John agrees. "We keep a customer-service attitude in our heads. It doesn't matter how many hours you work or how quickly you can complete tasks. Ultimately, this business is about putting the client first."
